Finally!!!!! The long awaited Netflix series “Stranger Things” starring Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown and more will premiere the first half of Season 4 in May and the second half in July.
Netflix also announced the 5th season will be the last but the creators of the series hinted there could be a sequel or spinoff at some point. “There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things: new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes. But first, we hope that you stay with us as we finish this tale of a powerful girl named Eleven and her brave friends, of a broken police chief and a ferocious mom, of a small town called Hawkins and an alternate dimension known only as the Upside Down.”
Production on the final season hasn’t begun yet and air dates have not been provided. Hopefully it won’t take another 3 years for hardcore fans have waited patiently for Season 4.
Netflix revealed the premiere date for the 1980s-set sci-fi drama’s fourth season will be split into two parts. “Volume 1” of Season 4 on May 27 and the second half of Season 4 Volume 2, will debut July 1.
Here’s the official description of Season Four: “It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time — and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
Stranger Things posted an image on Instagram with the caption “Every ending has a beginning. Vol. 1 is coming May 27. Vol. 2 is coming July 1.”
