Toronto Police say they do not believe an animal is to blame for the mutilation of more than a dozen Canada geese in an industrial area in North York. They say the 14 geese were found dead on Monday morning. Investigators say the bird’s carcasses were intact but their wings and legs were torn and their necks snapped. A joint animal cruelty investigation is being conducted with the help of wildlife enforcement officials. The industrial area where the geese were discovered is located on Clayson Road just north of Bartor Road and the 400 highway. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.222tips.com
