Heads up – a winter weather travel advisory is in affect across southern Ontario. The first storm of 2017 is expected to hit tonight and continue overnight. It will be at its worse during rush hour tomorrow morning.
About 10cm of snow is expected to fall, before turning to rain late in the afternoon. Environment Canada has also issued a winter travel advisory for tonight into Tuesday morning. They’re also warning drivers to give yourself extra time if you are commuting.
A travel weather advisory is also in effect for the Highway 401 corridor between Oshawa and Belleville.
