We The North! Today Is Toronto Raptors Day!

Mother Nature is nailing us with brutal conditions outside with the Spring Ice Storm with freezing rain, ice pellets and snow but inside it’s a dream come true for couch potatoes. Fresh off the heels of advancing to the Concacaf Champions League Final last Tuesday, the 2017 MLS Champs TFC take on the Colorado Rapids at 3pm. The Jays are in action against the Cleveland Indians at 4:10pm. The Blue Jays were victorious 8-4 Friday night. The Raptors take on the Washington Wizards in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs at 5:30pm at ACC. In 2015 Toronto was swept but this is a different team and year.  DeMar DeRozan said “A championship for the city, my city, is all I care about now.” The Leafs face the Bruins in game 2 of their series in Boston at 8pm. Mayor John Tory has officially proclaimed Saturday as Toronto Raptors Day in the city and is enouraging everyone to show their support and appreciation for this incredible team. The iconic Toronto sign at Nathan Phillips Square will be glowing Raptors red in support of our team! The Maple Leafs tweeted their support and so did Marcus Stroman and The Jays.
