[Video] Mark Wahlberg And WME Donate To “Time’s Up” Legal Defense Fund

First there was the controversy surrounding sexual misconduct accusations of Kevin Spacey who was removed from the film “All The Money In The World” and replaced with Christopher Plummer then re-shoots were needed and Mark Wahlberg was reportedly paid more than his co-star Michelle Williams which sparked some outrage. Now Mark and William Morris Endeavor have donated a combined $2 million to the “Time’s Up” legal defense fund after the pay disparity between Wahlberg and Williams. Wahlberg said in a statement “Over the last few days my reshoot fee for “ATMITW” has become an important topic of conversation. I 100% support the fight for fair pay and I’m donating the $1.5M to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund in Michelle Williams’ name.” According to USA Today and other media outlets Williams received a per diem of about $1000 ($80 per day) for the re-shoots while Wahlberg was given an additional $1.5 million over his initial payment for the film. WME will donate $500,000 in addition to Wahlberg’s $1.5 million.
