Trees Stolen from Princess of Wales Park

Orangeville Police are investigating the theft of two trees from Princess of Wales Park in Orangeville last Friday afternoon.

On Friday, October 12, 2017 around 2 p.m., a woman was seen extracting two trees from a landscaped area in the western part of the park. A neighbouring resident witnessed the woman uproot the two well-established trees and replace them with two smaller ones. She took one of the trees with her from the scene and left the second tree in the ditch on the east side of B Line.

The witness described the female suspect as white, approximately 40-years-old, with short blond hair, wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, grey pants and a lime green vest. The suspect’s vehicle was described as light grey in colour.

Police are continuing their investigation and are asking to hear from anyone who may have information regarding this theft incident.
