Georges St-Pierre’s hiatus from the Ultimate Fighting Championship has come to an end. The former UFC Welterweight Champion has agreed to the terms of a new deal to rejoin the UFC roster effective immediately, ending a 3.5 year absence from the Octagon. News of the contract was confirmed to by UFC president Dana White Friday afternoon.
There is a rumored ‘short-list’ of potential opponents upon the King’s return, first up is a possible Middleweight Championship match versus Michael Bisping, a long-gestating superfight with former Middleweight Champion, Anderson Silva and the front runner? A MEGA fight with UFC’s resident bad boy, ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor.
