Spring Officially Arrives Tomorrow!

I’ve had enough of winter and I’m ready for warmer weather! We’re getting sneak peak of Spring time 2017 on the final day of Winter 2017 with a beautiful day filled with sunshine! Spring officially arrives tomorrow morning while you are listening to Scott Fox and Kat Callaghan on Z1035.  The forecast tonight is calling for a low of -1 lovernight. Tomorrow for the first day of spring a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 8. Chance of showers in the evening and a low of 1. Tuesday sun and cloud and a high of 10 and cold Wednesday with a high of -2. According to The Weather Channel The vernal equinox takes place Monday, March 20 at 6:28 a.m. EDT. At this time, the sun is crossing over from the southern hemisphere into the northern hemisphere. During this process, the sun is shining directly over the earth’s equator, bathing the earth’s northern and southern hemispheres in nearly an equal amount of sunlight. According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac Spring arrives at 6:29am EDT.  The word equinox is derived from two Latin words: aequus (equal) and nox (night), according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
