Robber Uses Bat to Steal Scooter from 15-Year Old in Orangeville

Police are searching for a pair of male suspects after a 15-year old was robbed of his scooter in Orangeville Monday night.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2017, the teen and his friends were walking along the asphalt path between Alder Street Arena and Montgomery Village Public School. The three boys were confronted by two other males, believed to be approximately 20 years old.

Police describe the first suspect as white, tall, approximately 20-years-old and wearing a bulky windbreaker. The second suspect is described as white, shorter than the first suspect, with dark hair and was wearing a white and black Nike windbreaker.

The stolen scooter is an Affiniti-brand scooter and is black with purple wheels and a chrome handle bar.

Police are continuing their investigation and would like to hear from anyone who has information about the incident.
