The main event of UFC 214 in Anaheim, CA featured a rematch between former Champion, Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier for the undisputed UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. For the better part of two and a half rounds, Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones went to all-out war, with Cormier seemingly getting the better of Jones.
However, as soon as Cormier started feeling good about things, Jones ended it in a split second. Jones, the greatest Light Heavyweight fighter of all-time and now arguably the greatest mixed martial artist of all-time, smashed Cormier with a perfectly placed head kick in the middle of the Octagon inside the Honda Center.
Jones followed up with a vicious ground-and-pound assault and the fight was stopped at the 3:01 mark of the third round of the main event. And NEEWWWWWW…
