Police stopped a total of 2397 vehicles during the campaign. Police arrested and charged four people with Impaired Driving. Two of the charged drivers were found to have been impaired by the consumption of drugs.
There were seven roadside breath tests conducted resulting in one 3-day licence suspension. Police also laid two Highway Traffic Act charges, two Liquor Licence Act charges, one charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance and six charges of Failing to Comply with a Court Order.
The four Impaired Driving charges mentioned above brings the total to twenty-nine drivers charged with Impaired Driving by Orangeville Police in 2017.
