OPP Are Looking to Speak with a Male Driver Who Offered a Ride to an 11-Year Old Girl in Fergus

Police are attempting to track down and question a man who offered a ride to an 11-year old girl in Fergus Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 3:30 on October 3, 2017, Wellington County OPP received a complaint of a driver who approached a girl on Ferrier Street. Police say the girl got off her school bus and began walking home, when a car, described as a dark blue with four doors crossed over the centre line and pulled alongside her. The driver asked the girl if she wanted a ride home, but she declined.

When she got home the girl told her mother who called OPP.

The driver is described as a white male, approximately 65 years of age with a baldish head and white hair cut short to around his ears. He had a normal build with a grey beard and moustache a few inches in length. He had a deep voice and was wearing a baggy T-shirt.

OPP are asking anyone with information to call 1-888-310-1122.
