Ontario Has The Highest Gas Prices In The Country – 26 Cents Higher Than Last Year

With the long weekend upon us, gas prices nationwide have shot up again. Dan McTeague of GasBuddy.com says drivers here in Ontario (and the ones in Vancouver) are seeing the highest prices in the country. The lowest prices can be found in Quebec and Alberta, thanks to local retail market pressures. The national average right now is 1.34 per litre. That is 26 cents higher than this time last year. Here in the GTA the average price this morning is 139-9.
