The New Facebook Jobs Feature Is Up And Running

Chance are you have already seen the notification when you open Facebook. Their new help wanted section is up and running. Now you can search through help-wanted posts on business pages, News Feeds and there is a new Jobs bookmark. The new feature lets users find help-wanted posts at business pages on Facebook or by looking in a new “jobs bookmark” section. Facebook says, “Businesses and people already use Facebook to fill and find jobs, so we’re rolling out new features that allow job posting and application directly on Facebook.” Job postings may appear in news feed streams if companies pay to promote them. Clicking on an “apply now” button will open an online form already filled out with relevant information from a person’s Facebook profile. Applicants will then be able to add, edit, and review forms before submitting them, according to Facebook.

Facebook figures this is going to be popular. 40% of small businesses claim finding the right candidate for a position is more difficult than they expected.
