Legion Supports AEDs for Orangeville Fire Department

The Orangeville Fire Department is two steps closer to its goal of a defibrillator in every vehicle, thanks to a donation from the local Royal Canadian Legion Branch.

Earlier this week, Orangeville Fire Chief Ronald Morden accepted a cheque from Chris Skalozub, President of the Royal Canadian Legion Brance 233 Orangeville and Darrick Landry, incoming President and Chairman of the Poppy Trust. The funds will be used to purchase two Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) which will go into two of the Fire Department’s vehicles.

This donation brings Orangeville Fire’s total AED units to four, two shy of its goal of six.
