Last Saturday night Kanye West aka “YE” stirred things up with his appearance on SNL and Pro-Trump rants and now once again he has disappeared from social media. His Twitter page says “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!” and on IG “Sorry, this page isn’t available.” This not the first time he has pulled a Copperfield disappearing act. West was off Twitter for about a year and came back this past April and recently returned to Instagram. Kanye recently said “We abolish the 13th amendment” of the US Constitution, which ended slavery, calling the amendment “slavery in disguise, meaning it never ended.” He later called for amending, rather than abolishing, the Constitutional amendment. West called it a message of “love” while wearing a MAGA hat (Make America Great Again) He said “This represents good and America becoming whole again. We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love.” Kanye performed 3 times on the 44th season premiere of Saturday Night Live on NBC and took the opportunity to voice his current feelings and opinions and said ” “Thank y’all for giving me this platform. I know some of y’all don’t agree. … Ninety percent of news are liberal — TV, L.A., New York, writers, rappers, musicians, so it’s easy to seem like it’s so, so, so one-sided.” I’m sure after the dust settles from the backlash this past week Kanye will eventually return. in the meantime we will have to keep with Kim Kardashian and her family. Awkwafina and Travis Scott are on SNL tonight and Seth Myers and Paul Simon next week.
