Yep … it’s a little strange to see a Canadian politician on TMZ but they are covering Justin Trudeau’s family vacation to the Caribbean. The Trudeau’s were at an exclusive resort on the island of Nevis for a 10 day getaway. According to TMZ, the cost of a vacation at this particular resort is $2,500 US per night. The villa Trudeau stayed in was 3,400 sq ft.
The Prime Minister’s Office says the family did use a government jet for travel, due to security concerns. Those jets cost about $10,000 an hour to operate. But, Justin will reimburse taxpayers for the cost of an economy air fare.
