Justin Bieber Got A Ticket For Texting And Driving On Saturday In L.A. And Hung Out With A Canadian NHL Player

Justin Bieber, who was a part of PhoneGuard Inc. campaign in 2011 against texting and driving and even put up a banner that read “Don’t Text and Drive” during his performances, got a ticket Saturday for…texting and driving. In a statement from the campaign he said, “We need to change the attitudes in our society toward texting and driving and I am making it one of my personal goals to make this happen.” He was reportedly pulled over by police after he was caught using his phone while driving.  Bieber was reprimanded as he drove through Beverly Hills in his Mercedes G-Wagon on Saturday and was said to be calm and collected during the incident.  It’s unclear whether he was texting or talking, but he accepted the citation for using his cell phone – which usually costs $162 – without further incident.  Chances are he could have been texting P.K. Subban about their hangout on Saturday night. Subban posted a pic of the pair with the caption “Long overdue. It’s a secret society.. all we ask is trust.
