Four People Arrested In Connection With Train Station Vandalism

Police hope to eliminate trespassers. Orangeville Police have arrested and charged four people in connection to vandalism at the train station (Monday, July 9, 2018) on Townline.

Police say, around 1:00am three males and one female were spotted at the train station located at 49 Townline in Orangeville. The suspects broke a window on the building, then broke windows and lights on the train engine parked in the yard. Damage to the train is estimated to be more than $10,000.

Police have arrested all four people and charged them with Mischief Over $5000, Mischief Under $5000 and Theft Under $5000.
All four people are scheduled to appear in court in Orangeville in the coming weeks.
