English Is The Major That Post-Secondary Grads Regretted Taking The Most

A new survey of post-secondary graduates suggests that high school students might want to give more thought to what they want to study before enrolling in college or university. The Trade-Schools.net survey found the most regretted college major is English. More than half (54%) of people who majored in English say they are not satisfied with that choice. Fine Arts was a close second at 51.6% and political science came in third at 38.2%.  So which grads are happiest with what they studied? Accounting was #1 with almost 85% satisfaction. Computer science came in second, followed by Information Technology. Overall, people who graduate with degrees in science, math or technology are the least likely to say they’d switch career fields entirely.
