Tuesday night I was in attendance along with 800 plus people at the “100 Days Celebration” for Doug Ford as Premiere Of Ontario. The atmosphere was electric with fans chanting his name with excitement and enthusiasm. Doug stayed for hours after his speech chatting and taking photos with hundreds and hundreds of supporters. Mayor John Tory said earlier in the day that things have been “Turbulent” thus far but Ford faithful have a different opinion. Doug Ford thanked his caucus and the people across the province of Ontario and said “As long as you stand with the people, the people will stand with you.” Ford and The PC’s have been working to deliver promises in the past 100 Days and repeated several times Tuesday night at the Woodbine Banquet and Convention Cente in Rexdale/Etobicoke his catch phare #PromisesMadePromisesKept and the crowd cheered every time with approval. Doug said “It’s been a busy 100 Days of action….action that the likes of Canada has never seen” Ford talked about ousting “The Million Dollar Man” the outrage of out of control hydro bills, rising taxes, lost jobs, scandals and mismanagement and health care system. Since June 7th he promised to put more money in our pockets, dropped gas prices, drivers licence fees frozen, drive clean program scrapped, Buck A Beer Is Back and will fight the carbon tax and get Justin Trudeau’s hands out of our pockets. Ford also said “We’ve accomplished so much already but there is still a lot more to be done” Ford had a message for all workers that “Justin Trudeau may have forgotten about you, the Liberals may have forgotten about you, but we will never everrrrrr forget about you” and the place went wild! He reminded everybody that Ontario Is Open For Business. To the workers of Ontario he said “If you have a big dream. If you are ready to work hard, we will help you succeed” What are your thoughts about the first 100 days for Doug Ford as Premiere? Join the conversation on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
