One day after Carrie Fisher passed away, TMZ confirms her mother, Debbie Reynolds, has died as a result of a stroke.Her son Todd confirmed the news. Reynolds was rushed to the hospital this afternoon. She was at her son Todd’s house at the time making funeral plans for her daughter Carrie, who died Tuesday from cardiac arrest.
Debbie was made famous for her roles in Singing in the Rain, Tammy and the Bachelor and The Unsinkable Molly Brown. She also divorced Eddie Fisher back in 1959 after he had an affair with Elizabeth Taylor. She was married 2 more times in 1960 and 1984.
Debbie’s son Todd says “She’s with Carrie.”
She was 84.
Update: TMZ is reporting that 15 minutes before Reynolds had the stroke, she told her son Todd “I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie.”
