Earlier this week I reported that Real Madrid and Portugal National Team soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is in serious talks to join Juventus in Serie A in Italy. As we wait for official confirmation on that reports say Facebook is working on a reality show starring Ronaldo. The social media giant is in talks to bring the Ronaldo docu-series to “Facebook Watch” its video platform for TV-style content, according “Variety” and multiple sources and he could receive a paycheck of around $10 million for the 13-episode show. CAA is packaging the series, to be produced by Matador Content and Religion of Sports, a sports-media firm founded by Gotham Chopra, Michael Strahan, Tom Brady and production company Dirty Robber. Sources vary as to whether negotiations are close to being finalized or just in the initial planning stages. Meanwhile on the pitch World Cup 2018 Quarter Finals action resumes today with Uruguay vs France at 10am and 5-Time Champions Brazil vs Belgium at 2pm and Saturday Sweden vs England at 10am and the host country Russia vs Croatia at 2pm.
