Coffee, Conversation & Books Comes To Orangeville

Orangeville Public Library welcomes John L. Riley for Coffee, Conversation & Books at Euphoria (154 Broadway) on Wednesday, February 21, at 7 p.m. An engaging speaker, John will discuss his latest book “The Once and Future Great Lakes Country: An Ecological History”. It is a history of environmental change in Great Lakes country, from pre-contact to the present, and a tale of where those trajectories may be taking us. If you care about the environment and love the Headwaters Region, you do not want to miss this engaging conversation on how to protect our region’s ecology.

Dufferin County libraries (Grand Valley, Orangeville, and Shelburne) have partnered to deliver Coffee, Conversation & Books, a new program featuring local authors. On the third Wednesday of the month, a local author will host a book talk in a coffee shop in one of the three communities. There are 12 events throughout the year. The evenings will be hosted at Brewed Awakenings in Grand Valley, Euphoria in Orangeville, and Jelly Café in Shelburne. Details on the monthly events are available on the three Dufferin libraries’ websites.
