Fresh off the heels of singing and hosting the 2017 CMA’s and sporting many beautiful outfits during the show, Carrie Underwood is now recuperating after breaking her wrist and suffering other injuries from a “hard fall” outside her house. The Tennessean reports Underwood was treated and released from a hospital for a broken wrist, cuts and abrasions. Her rep said “On Friday night, Carrie Underwood took a hard fall on some steps outside her home. While there were no life-threatening injuries, she was taken to the hospital to be treated. She sustained multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts and abrasions from the fall.” He husband former NHL player Mike Fisher “was able to make it back into town that night to be with her and she was released from the hospital.”The rep said “Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes” Due to her injuries, Underwood is unable to play the Country Rising benefit concert at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville tonight. Underwood posted on Twitter today and said “Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody…I’ll be alright…might just take some time…glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me. All the best to Carrie and we wish her a speedy recovery.
