Bus Driver Charged After Yesterday’s Rollover In Innisfil

A 73-year-old school bus driver has been charged following that collision that sent 14 students to hospital, three of them with serious injuries. South Simcoe police say the bus and a pickup truck collided yesterday morning in Innisfil. It happened at 7:45 a.m. near the intersection of the 4th Line and 5th Sideroad. All of the high school students were taken to hospital as a precaution and one was airlifted to a Toronto trauma hospital. A Barrie man is charged with disobeying a stop sign and is to appear in court in November.
