It’s been an amazing ride and we we’re hoping for a fairy tale storybook ending but the dream is over for this year at Wimbledon for Milos Raonic who grew up in Thornhill. He made us all proud becoming the first Canadian male singles player to appear in the final but the #7 seed lost to #2 Andy Murray in straight sets 6-4, 7-6, 7-6. Thank you for some thrilling tennis action and the pursuit of greatness continues and one day will be achieved at The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for Raonic. Raonic the runner up says “there is nothing more than what I want to be back here to win” It’s Andy Murray’s second victory at Wimbledon and he was emotional with tears of joy after the match. The Prime Minister of England David Cameron, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William, Princess Kate were in attendance also Hugh Grant, Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie, Bradley Cooper and his supermodel girlfriend Irina Shayk and Ellen DeGeneres was spotted. I wonder if Ellen and Bradley took another epic selfie at centre court?
