Police Search Female Suspect in Armed Robbery of Pharmacy

Orangeville Police are searching for a female suspect following an armed robbery at a drug store on Riddell Road that took place Saturday night.

Police say that shortly before 9 p.m. on September 2, 2017, a lone woman entered the Rexall Pharma-Plus store, approached the cashier and pulled a weapon from under her clothes, demanding the money from the cash register. The robber fled the scene after the cashier handed over the money and was last seen leaving the area headed north.

Police say the suspect is white, approximately 5’8″ with a medium build. She is believed to be about 30 years old and was wearing a white windbreaker jacket with a hoody pulled over her head, black pants and sunglasses.

After a search of the area, police were unable to locate the woman and are continuing the investigation.
