Michael Jackson’s Estate says a 3-D version of the singer’s “Thriller” video is set to debut at the Venice Film Festival in Los Angeles, California.
The most modern of available technology was used to convert the 14-minute short film from its original negative into 3-D. The director stated that the video wasn’t edited or altered in any way, but still promises a “shocking surprise.”
The 3-D version is debuting more than 30 years after its original premiere, and about 8 years after Jackson’s death.
