Down in the U.S. there are some pretty major wildfires burning in California’s wine-country. At least 10 people are dead, 100 more are injured and 1,500 properties have been destroyed. The fires are impacting Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties with flames ripping through the lush, picturesque landscape. The fires ignited Sunday night and spread with explosive speed because of dry conditions, that were fueled by strong winds reaching up to 50 mph. Police say there’s no containment so far. Residents gathered at emergency shelters and grocery stores say they were shocked by the speed and ferocity of the flames.
